Chamber stalwarts are recognised

Business representatives receiving IW Chamber of Commerce, Tourism and Industry awards at Newclose Cricket Club.

ISLAND businesses have been acknowledged for their long membership of the IW Chamber of Commerce, Tourism and Industry.

Two presentations were held at recently at Newclose Cricket Club, when representatives of businesses that have notched up ten or 20 years of membership were presented with bronze and silver awards. Gold certificates were handed out an a ceremony earlier this year.

Chamber president, Steve Porter, and chief executive, Kevin Smith, paid tribute to the wide range of businesses for their involvement and support of the business community.

The presentations were part of the on-going celebration of the chamber’s centenary year.
