A FISHERMAN'S do-it-yourself project with a difference has had help from an Island laminate company.
Charter fisherman Barry Meech has started work on his latest vessel, fitting out a new 11m South Boats GRP catamaran, purchased using GRP’s fit-and-kit option.
That allowed him to buy the hull and ribs and have the deck laid, while he will fit the endings, running gear, seats and dashboard himself.
