Sarah Matthews, manager of Wildflowers Floral Design, Godshill, was given a helping hand for the day through an initiative that will see all 1,700 Barclays business managers spending a day with customers. Business manager Lisa Rowles helped prepare designs at the new small florists of Godshill Organics, to better understand on a practical level what it’s like for her client to be a start-up.Sarah benefited from the extra staff member, as the busy day involved creating designs for a wedding, demonstrating to the bank manager the toil required in a small business. There was also time to provide Sarah with advice on how to get her enterprise blossoming. Lisa was impressed with her client’s enthusiasm for business.
