A SHALFLEET nurse with a flavour for fudge has come up with the right recipe for her own business.
Part-time community nurse Tania Anderson runs The Wight Fudge Company from her home in Fleet Way, and her fudge is now available to buy in Co-op stores in Cowes, Bembridge and Freshwater.
It is also available at the Yarmouth Deli and, from March, it will be at Godshill’s Chocolate Island.
Tania’s range of flavours include butter toffee, vanilla, chocolate, white chocolate infusion, sultana and rum, choc o nut and dark chocolate heaven.
It takes her about an hour to make it and she has adapted all the flavours from recipe books.
"Making fudge is a hobby really but hopefully now it’s in the Co-op stores more people will get to enjoy it," said Tania, who is married to Rob, and they have two children, Ciara, five, and Sean, three.
Tania hopes the fudge will also prove popular with visitors and she plans to enter it in the Great Taste Awards later this year.
