The amount of money donated to charities and voluntary groups in Hertfordshire by a county trust has just passed the £1million mark. The Hertfordshire Community Foundation, which was set up in 1989, has an endowment fund worth £3million and raises money for charity groups through investment. For information call 01707 251351.
