OUTDOOR clothing brand Musto, which has its flagship store at Cowes, has been granted the royal warrant from the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
Musto enjoyed a successful, award-winning start to the new year by receiving the accreditation, given to a company that has supplied its products to the royal household over five years or more.
The company, the only marine and leisure brand to receive the accolade, provides outdoor clothing for country sports and sailing to the Queen and Prince Philip.
It has its main outlet in Cowes High Street and provides technical sailing, equestrian and shooting clothing for all weather conditions and, more recently, has expanded into the lifestyle clothing market, developing a marine-inspired range of casual wear.
Musto’s marketing director, Mostyn Thomas, said: "The Solent and Island, with its strong sailing fraternity, is a core region for Musto."
