HTP, the Newport-based training firm, has been recognised as one of the best in the country by Ofsted.
The education inspectors have praised the company for its work-based learning schemes in the hospitality industry, including them in a recent report on outstanding training providers.
The company was one of only 12 to be recognised in the entire south east and the only one on the Island.
The report was announced by chief inspector, Christine Gilbert, as part of an effort to promote the best examples of work-based training and idea sharing.
Rachael Fidler, of HTP — Hospitality Training Partnership — said: "Everyone has worked so hard; the staff, the learners and employers, to gain our outstanding status.
"It is such an achievement to be recognised by Ofsted.
"We take a great pride in being instrumental in developing the skills and employability of young people. A relationship is built between the employer, learner and training consultant from day one."
