DESIGNER sailing clothing outlet Slam has relocated its shop in Cowes to a larger premises.

The Genoa-based company, which established itself in Cowes more than a decade ago, has just opened its more spacious shop in Shooters Hill.

The move will be a gradual one, with Slam running its other outlet, also in Shooters Hill, until September.

Slam, which employs ten staff, is decking out its stylish new-look store with fixtures and fittings imported from Italy.

Its manager, Elena Antoniazzi, said: "The shop will be much bigger, brighter, modern and attractive to the customer and in a much better location. We are looking forward to another busy Cowes Week."
