Heribert Westerveld captured this photo of the moment the Atalanta collided with the tanker.
READERS have been sending in their photos of the collision between a boat and a tanker during Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week at the weekend.
The incident happened on Saturday afternoon when the Class 4 boat Atalanta was in collision with a tanker.
One member of the crew was knocked overboard and another had a head injury and was taken to hospital but released later.
An investigation into the incident will be held in due course
