EBA Double Fours

Cheam Village 'A' team, drawn against Old Coulsdon BC, were able, through a 17-shot win by the rink of Paul Vamvacopoulos, to go through to the next round. Should Cheam Village BC manage to play the same combination, due to the strength of team they could be considered to be among the favourites.

The Cheam Village 'B' team were less fortunate losing to Wallington. Score: Cheam Village 34, Wallington 41.

Southey BC v West

Wimbledon BC

This could be termed as a local derby between two clubs just a mile or so apart, and when it comes to a league and cup match combined the rivalry is there for all to see. The NSL league game was won by West Wimbledon by one shot, but that one shot gave west Wimbledon four points.

It was a different story when the game is finally declared, 24 shots difference in favour of Southey, and winning on all four rinks! This can only be described as what bowls is all about.
