IW SPIN star Danny Briggs has made his biggest step forward into an international career, by being named in the England Twenty20 squad.

The 15-man squad will play in a three-match series against South Africa, with matches on September 8, 10 and 12, before flying out to Sri Lanka to defend England's ICC World Twenty20 title.
Bowler Briggs, 21, learned his trade at Ventnor before earning a professional contract with Hampshire. His best bowling results have come in the shortest form of cricket, although he is also playing a key part in the Royals' current Clydesdale Bank 40 charge.
ECB national selector Geoff Miller said: "The T20 squad mirrors the squad we have selected for the ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka and the three-match NatWest series provides this group of players with valuable preparation in what will be a highly competitive series ahead of the tournament starting in September."
