MCC pick Hose again

CRICKET ADAM Hose has been re-selected for the MCC Young Cricketers (YCs) programme in 2013.

The Ventnor batsman made his debut for the YCs last summer, and has been picked again after a series of steady performances.

First up on his agenda will be a world-class pre-season training camp alongside a combined MCC Universities team in Abu Dhabi next month, before spending the rest of the summer making the most of the training facilities and expert coaching available at Lord’s, and playing for the YCs in the North Division of the ECB Second Eleven competitions.

MCC head coach, and former Gloucestershire and England all-rounder, Mark Alleyne, said: "I am really looking forward to welcoming Adam back into the YCs squad for another season. He is very professional in his approach to training and playing, and has spent part of this winter at the Global Cricket School in Pune working on his batting against spin, so I expect him to take a lead role within the batting line-up this season."
