MEDINA Theatre was full of colour, sass and innuendos on the closing night of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

From flamboyant pacy numbers to tear-jerking love songs, Priscilla has it all.

The show follows Tick/Mitzi — a drag queen in Sydney, played superbly by Ben Spurling — who has a change of heart and heads for the more peaceful Alice Springs.

On his journey, he is joined by Adam/Felicia, played by Casey Delabound, and Bernadette, played by the show-stealing star, Marc Phillips.

Marc's portrayal of a recently widowed, ex superstar drag queen who finds Mr Right in handy man Bob (Andy Ball), was funny, endearing and heart wrenching.

The show's hit-packed soundtrack — which included It's Raining Men, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, You Were Always On My Mind, and What's Love Got to Do With It? — was helped along by the vocally gifted Divas, Amanda Gregory, Elisa Jones and Emily Scotcher, in their gorgeous silver show girl dresses.

Every chorus number was full of life and energy, with incredible costumes backing the fantastic choreography.

However, the highlight of the show was director/producer Sarah Scotcher's scene stealing cameo as grubby, sexually frustrated Shirley, complete with mullet, a white vest and hip thrusts.

The whole performance was superbly put together with unbeatable costumes and set, a great atmosphere and a hell of a lot of fun.
