ISLAND dancers had the opportunity to work with some of the best choreographers in the business — thanks to Wight Workshops.
Those thinking about a career in dance or on the stage could experience a day in the life of a dancer during a session led by London-based Millennium Performing Arts College last Tuesday, held at Ventnor Winter Gardens.
The workshop started with ballet and jazz sessions followed in the afternoon with singing and musical theatre.
The following day, Wight Workshops welcomed Wolfgang Mwanje, a highly-regarded choreographer and dancer with Little Mix, Leona Lewis, Take That and will.i.am.
Dadina Sagger, of Wight Workshops, said: “We will be hoping to bring different styles from dance, movement to drama and photography to modelling and preforming.
“Wight Workshops will also be inviting any teachers on the Island that do something different to get in touch.”
