Enfields Jamie Hunter kept his grip on his Championship lead in the Renault Insurance Services Spider Cup with a hard fought second place in round three at Donington Park on Monday.
Driving for his family run team team Spartan Motorsport, Jamie, 26, was left with a huge chunk of time to make up after he slid off the circuit on lap two while fighting for the lead.
Luck was on his side as an accident forced other cars to slow up and allow Jamie to make up his lost ground and emerge with some valuable points.
