A 14-year-old schoolboy footballer has been valued at up to £1million in a deal to join Premier League Tottenham Hotspur.
Michael Malcolm from Coniston Gardens, South Kenton has signed for Spurs from the youth team of Second Division Wycombe Wonderers which he joined aged 11.
If Malcolm, who is a pupil at Claremont High School, Wembley, eventually plays for England he could earn Wycombe £1million in ñcompensationî, although the club has so far only received £10,000.
Wycombe youth coach Adrian Cole said: ñMichael is a fantastic player but this is a good deal for us. £10,000 may not be much as far as Spurs are concerned, but it is a lot of money for us.'
He was originally signed for Wycombe from Belmont which is based in Harrow.
