A magnificent unbeaten century from OEs' Stuart Burwood (121 no), although not enough to ensure victory, underlined a creditable team performance against league leaders Trinibis at the Memorial Ground on Saturday.

OEs, put into bat, started slowly and soon slumped to 60-4 off of 20 overs. However, the middle order steadied the boat and a strong 83 partnership from Burwood and T Smith (23) put OEs back in business over the 200 mark.

OEs' bowlers struggled against a strong batting side and the opening partnership of 79 gave Trinibis the platform on which to build a winning total. In the end, an excellent innings from Mason (72) saw them to victory.
