A MAN from Orpington was among three men arrested in connection with car break-ins in south London.
The men were arrested during an early morning raid by North Kent police on homes in Swanley and taken to a Metropolitan police station in Sutton where they were held overnight.
Joseph Clark, aged 19, a guttering erector, of Lime Road, Swanley, was charged with seven counts of theft from a motor vehicle, one of burglary at a residential garage and one attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
Zar Rye, also aged 19, a road surfacer, of Hart Dyke Road, Swanley, was charged with three counts of theft from a motor vehicle, one of burglary at a residential garage, and one attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
Danny Robert Webb, aged 20, a recovery vehicle driver, of Wagtail Way, Orpington, was charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle.
The three men were remanded on bail at Sutton Magistrates Court. They will appear again before magiustrates on July 25.
