Comedian Lucy Porter will be performing her shown Northern Soul at Quay Arts.
EDINBURGH Fringe favourite Lucy Porter will be performing her latest comedy show, Northern Soul, at Quay Arts tomorrow night (Friday) and we have three pairs of tickets to give away.
Despite now living in London, Lucy, a regular on comedy shows from Live at the Apollo to the Unbelievable Truth, has drawn inspiration for her latest tour from her love of the north.
Described by the Herald as "Fizzing with inventive one-liners, a treat from start to finish" Lucy — who was born in Croydon — said she was seduced as a teenager by the music of Morrisey, the politics of Dennis Skinner and the art of David Hockney, drawing her closer to the north until she eventually moved there, living in Manchester and Liverpool.
For a full interview with Lucy, please see tomorrow's Isle of Wight County Press, Friday, February 7.
•To win one of three pairs of tickets to her Quay Arts show, send the correct answer to the question below to email@example.com by 11am tomorrow.
Winners will be chosen at random.
