A PAUL McCartney-tipped duo who emerged from Liverpool’s folk music scene will play Ryde’s Wight Rock Bar.
The Worry Dolls — Zoe Nicol and Rosie Jones — will return to the Island next Saturday, March 4.
They will be supported by Island acts Claydon Connor, the Baggy Wrinkles Blues Band and Red Sqwrl.
The artistes, who met as students at the Liverpool School of Performing Arts, once had their songwriting skills praised by Sir Paul McCartney.
Having worked hard, playing as many gigs and festivals as possible, they realised their dream of travelling to Nashville to record their debut album, Go Get Gone, last month.
The duo first played on the Island two years ago, at East Cowes Town Hall, to raise money for Island charity Care in the Garden.
The show starts at 7pm.
