Dulwich did the double over Bromley on Saturday with a comfortable 3-0 win and climbed to 15th in the Ryman Premier Division.

The contest was sealed in the first half hour as Hamlet fired all three goals through a stunned Bromley defence.

On eight minutes, Dean Holness broke out of defence, threading a ball down the middle. Carl Bartley headed it on before Dave Stevens shrugged off two defenders and slipped the ball past the advancing Bromley goal keeper.

Less than 15 minutes later, Stevens collected a beautiful chip pass from Peter Garland and from 20 yards hammered the ball with a superb half volley. If the keeper even saw it, he didn't stand a chance as the ball rocketed into the top corner. Stevens' strike was his 11th in as many games.

Five minutes later, Peter Garland put in a corner which was headed home by Captain Russell Edwards.

At three nil up, Hamlet eased off the gas and Bromley started to creep back into what had, up to then, been a one-sided contest.

After the break Stevens came close to scoring his hat-trick with a flying header that was tipped away by Bromley keeper, Maurice Munden.

Back at the other end, Les `the cat' Cleevely made a great block in the 62nd minute. Even when he was beaten by a near-post header 12 minutes later, Hamlet's Lee Macken was there to clear off the line.
