WEST Wight Arts Association’s Christmas concert will be given by saxophonist Amy Green and pianist Christine Zerafa in the Memorial Hall, Freshwater, on Saturday, December 10, at 7pm — followed by mulled wine and mince pies.
Amy has performed solo recitals at many top venues. As well as her flourishing solo career, Amy is also a talented chamber and orchestral musician.
She has appeared in the BBC Proms with the London Sinfonietta and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as a soloist in the BBC Proms Plus series broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
Christine has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in concert series and festivals around the UK and overseas. She has also been selected as a Park Lane Group Artist and a Tunnell Trust Artist for the 2016/17 season.
West Wight Arts Association are grateful to Making Music’s Philip and Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists for financial support for this concert.
Amy and Christine will play works by Ravel, Schubert, Milhaud and Vaughan Williams as well as works by other less well-known composers.
