INTERNATIONALLY renowned super-choir Sense of Sound dropped in to The Island Free School, Ventnor, where they entertained pupils and staff by staging a workshop.
Sense of Sound has worked with stars including Jon Bon Jovi and choirmaster Gareth Malone, and gave pupils a taste of what they can expect at the new Isle of Wight school, which is due to open in September.
The school day is due to include a mandatory hour for extra curricular enrichment activities and supported learning. It will also offer free music tuition for pupils accepted on the school’s assisted music scheme.
Headteacher Steph Boyd, said: "It was just a cracking day and our musical introduction for the children."
