MORE than £3,000 was raised at Humour 4 Tumours, a charity comedy night at Ryde Fire Station.
It was The Wight Brainy Bunch’s first fundraiser of 2017 and it raised £3,259.
The group’s chosen charities are Smile4Wessex, which provides care for people with neurological conditions across the South Coast and IW; The Brain Tumour Charity, to fund research, early diagnosis and improve care for those living with a brain tumour, and The Firefighters Charity.
The evening featured comedians Jon Long, Sean Collins, Raymond and Mr Timpkins and Andy Askins.
The Wight Brainy Bunch help families on the Island whose lives have been affected by the effects of brain tumours.
