Times group sports editor John Pollard has landed a World Cup windfall for Mencap through a charity wager offered by bookmaker William Hill.
David Luscombe, manager of Hill's Brent Street, Hendon, branch, has offered a free £10 correct score bet on each of England's matches throughout the competition.
Our predictions for England's matches in the qualifying groups are: England 2, Tunisia 0; England 1, Romania 1; England 2 Colombia 1 and the first of those has already come up thanks to Alan Shearer and Paul Scholes.
If all goes according to plan England should reach the quarter finals, and make a nice sum for charity too!
