A SCHOOLBOY flower seller was threatened with a knife and forced to hand over a substantial amount of cash outside a Croxley Green pub on Sunday afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the alleged incident in which the 14-year-old said he was approached by three suspects, in Watford Road, Croxley Green, near the Two Bridges pub at 2.15pm.
They are keen to speak to a woman in a blue car who stopped to buy flowers shortly before the incident as they think she may have useful information.
Two of the suspects were men, one was black, aged around 16, of skinny build and wearing a white baseball cap and blue jogging trousers.
The other was white, aged about 17, wearing a white T-shirt and blue tracksuit-style bottoms.
Witnesses should contact Watford CID on 01923 472065.
