Time is running out to rush your entries into the Guardian Business Golf Challenge at Chipstead Golf Club later this month.

The golfing business extravaganza on Thursday, July 23, takes place at the club's magnificent Chipstead Valley course.

And our superb competition offers all companies in the Sutton and Epsom area the chance to test their golfing skills. Mens, ladies or mixed teams are welcome and all you need to do is contact Chipstead Golf Club on the number below for an entry form.

Each team of four must consist of two full time employees. Entries are on a strict first come first served basis upon receipt of your entry form and entry fee. The competition is limited to 22 company teams.

The challenge is a fourball Stableford competition of one round, best two scores to count. The maximum handicap allowance is 24 for men and 30 for ladies. All competing golfers must be amateur and have a handicap certificate from a golf club or recognised society. The team entry is £180 and this includes a minimum donation per entry of £60 towards the Guardian's Charity Trust which has provided much needed help across the Guardian group area for many years.

Action starts at the first Business Golf Challenge with coffee and a bag of goodies in the Chipstead Club House overlooking the 18th green and fairway. The first match starts at 9am and after all teams have completed there will be a complimentary three course buffet lunch. The day finishes with the trophy presentation for the overall and individual winners.

Chipstead Golf Club offers excellent facilities for business golf.

The club offers corporate membership rates for up to six people to play golf midweek at the club. For six months this costs £1,250 plus VAT. This entitles the nominated people to play golf anytime from 7.45am to dusk, Monday to Friday, subject to course availability. Call 01737 554939 for an entry form.
