The 18-year-old from Oak Avenue is one-fifth of all-girl pop group, Loose Chippin's.

Natalie and friends Carly, Nikki, Danni and Barbara, have spent the last two years doing a non-stop schedule of television appearances, interviews and gigs.

It is a world away from when the girls started out two years ago. Natalie had just finished her GCSE's at Rectory School, Hampton, and fellow band-member Carly completed her final year at Waldegrave School in Twickenham.

Since then the girls have flung themselves into a continuous round of gigs and promotional tours.

At Christmas they appeared with footballer David Ginola to switch on the lights in Regent Street, and last week they gave their first live performance at the Capital Radio café.

Natalie said: "None of us went to stage school. We are ordinary girls who want to have our chance to go out there and make it as a pop group.

"We were all friends before we formed the band. This opportunity came up, so I decided to give it a shot. You only get one chance to do something this big."

Future gigs for the girls include a date at the Millennium Dome on July 27, when they will appear in a charity concert sponsored by lastminute.com. Their debut single Girls Getting Naughty is to be released in June.

Natalie, who lives at home with her parents, says she is grateful for all the support she has received from her family over the last two years.

She said: "I share everything I do with them. They get really excited and come to watch us perform."
