FOR the first time in 40 years, television cameras are coming to the IW as LDN Wrestling returns to Medina Theatre.
A huge crowd is expected as Sky TV will film the live event next Saturday, August 5.
The last time cameras filmed wrestling on the IW was back when Big Daddy took on Giant Haystacks at Ryde Town Hall.
Featuring some of the country’s top grapplers, including the former LDN British champion Alan Lee Travis and international American superstar former WWE wrestler Joe E Legend, a spectacular night of high-impact action is promised.
LDN has already filmed several episodes which will air on Sky in September.

Dark Lord, the self-professed sadistic, violent man of mystery, is considerably less humble.
He said: “Forget about beating me; there’s nobody who can even last five minutes in the ring with me and it’s going to be no different at Medina Theatre. If my opponent has any brains, they won’t even turn up.”
The two-hour show starts at 7pm with the opportunity for to meet and greet the wrestlers after the show.
Tickets are available from the Medina Theatre box office.
