A CHEQUE for £10,800 raised by an annual charity rugby sevens tournament and family fun day has been presented to Helen House Children's Hospice for seriously ill children.

Innovex UK Ltd organised the event on April 29 at Marlow Rugby Club, attended by around 1,000 visitors.

The main event of the day was the rugby sevens tournament in which 14 teams from pharmaceutical companies in the Thames Valley took part.

Carole Barber, of Innovex in Marlow Park, Marlow, said: "We were absolutely delighted with the amount of money raised."

The hospice caters for children aged up to 16-years-old. The funds will go towards a music room at the hospice.
