BABY BENEFIT: A coffee morning is being held to raise money for Christmas stockings for special care babies. As well as coffee and cakes, Christmas cards, decorations and baby clothes will be on sale. The event is between 10am and 2pm on November 5 at the special care babies unit, in Farnborough Hospital, Farnborough Common.

POPPY PEOPLE: Poppy Collectors are wanted to raise money in Farnborough for the Poppy Appeal. They are needed between November 5 and 10. Money raised is used by the British Legion to look after former soldiers wounded or unable to find work. Call Dennis Bryan on 01689 856360.

SCOUTS MEET : First Farnborough Scouts will celebrate its 90th birthday with a get together of anyone who has been involved. The event will be at The Scout Hut, High Street, Farnborough, on November 3, from 2pm and 4pm .
