ISLAND MP Bob Seely put his best feet forward when he attended a dance class geared towards older people.
DanceMakers is a gentle, creative dance programme run by local charity Independent Arts.
It offers older people the chance to participate in six different groups across the Island.
DanceMakers can help to improve balance, co-ordination, muscle strength, memory and confidence.
Mr Seely watched the group perform their piece on New Year, New Beginnings and then stopped to chat to the group about the project.
Participants spoke to him about the vulnerability of grant-funded projects and the positive impact DanceMakers had made on their lives.
For more information on DanceMakers or any other Independent Arts project, call 822437.
