February 13, 2001 9:36: A CHARITY evening has left a Chislehurst pub looking like it had been Tangoed.
The Stationmaster pub, in Chislehurst Road, turned orange when hosting a fund-raising event which invited people to turn up dressed only in orange clothes.
The event was organised by 15-year-old Evie Moran, to raise money for the World Vision Orange A-Peal.
The charity, fronted by pop star Billie Piper, hopes to raise £1m for underprivileged children around the world by encouraging young people to organise events with an orange theme.
Evie, who attends Coopers Secondary School, in Chislehurst, has been involved in the charity for several years, previously acting as sponsor for a girl from Africa.
