A DRIVER was trapped for 30 minutes after her car hit a fence in St Mary Cray and overturned.
The 28-year-old woman, who was heading west along Crockenhill Road, lost control of her blue Renault Clio as she went round a right hand bend into Burrfield Drive at around 9.10am on April 28.
After crashing into a wooden fence, the car overturned and slid back onto Crockenhill Road. It took a fire crew from Orpington 19 minutes to cut free the woman, who was then taken to Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup.
A London Ambulance spokesman said: "The woman was complaining of pains in her right hand which had a deep cut. We lifted her from the car through a side back window and gave her pain-relieving drugs."
A Traffic Police spokesman said: "It looked very serious to begin with but she was very lucky because her injuries were not life threatening."
