PEOPLE across Bromley with sights set on becoming a sports coach have been handed a boost after a series of training courses were unveiled.
The Crystal Palace Partnership Sports Project is offering participants the chance to gain a nationally-recognised coaching award.
The 10-day course will teach how to deliver coaching to young children and organise tournaments.
Sports development officer Jacqueline Hardyman said: "More than 400 new sports coaches have now qualified to deliver quality coaching locally. Many of these have used their qualifications to find employment, others are now coaching local young people on a voluntary basis, putting their new skills to good use in their local community."
