CROWDS flocked to the Glades shopping centre last weekend to get a glimpse of Family Festival Day.
Excited children leapt at the chance to meet Bob the Builder as he made his way around the centre.
The feast of entertainment culminated in a spectacular grand parade, the switching on of the Christmas lights and a dazzling fireworks display.
Bromley town centre manager James Findlater said: "Thousands of visitors enjoyed the day and we are very grateful to everyone who contributed to making the day a success.
"The Victorian Christmas Carousel was a real hit with children and is open until Christmas.
"We are now looking forward to the authentic German market and live carol music performances, both on the High Street, throughout December."
