A CHARITY which provides care for the dying has been given a boost by the fundraising efforts of brainy Beckenham solicitors.
St Christopher's Hospice, in Lawrie Park Road, received £3,000 after Pritchard, Joyce and Hinds organised a quiz night with a raffle, auction and tombola with prizes donated by local companies.
All 120 quiz participants had to wear something blue, and pay an entrance fee to compete.
The hospice relies on donations to continue to care for seriously-ill patients in Bromley and across south-east London.
Actor Eric Richard, who played Sergeant Cryer in ITV drama, The Bill, presented the cheque to Susanne Dowswell from St Christopher's.
She said: "We really appreciate this kind of support. We need to raise about £4m every year from the local community to care for people at the end of their lives."
