HARRY Potter, Big Ears and the Borrowers all came to life at a Bromley school to celebrate a week dedicated to books.
Pupils and staff at Bromley High Junior School, Blackbrook Lane, Bickley, enjoyed five days of talks and activities including a visit from Val Biro, the author of Gumdrop and the car itself, storytelling workshops and a drama workshop based on books such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
Teacher Lesley Clare said: "It has been lovely. Some of the older junior girls have been telling stories to the infants so they have become storytellers themselves."
