WASTE disposal in Bexley will be given a face-lift if a pilot scheme to process rubbish more effectively is successful.
Residents are being offered the chance to participate in a scheme to develop alternative ways of collecting kitchen and garden refuse.
A variety of container systems, sizes and frequencies will be tested and residents' views consulted.
Bexley Council has teamed up with environmental group Enventure and waste management consultant Cleanaway to fund the two-year project using the Government's Landfill Tax Credit.
