AFTER watching last week's Monkey heats there appears to be only one dog worth backing in this Wednesday's final.

FERNDALE KING was by far the quickest to qualify and looked almost certain to land the £500 prize. However, the trap draw has been unkind to King and he should be opposed from a tricky slot five position.

DROOPY'S NOELLE has been given the luxury of trap one and can use this advantage to turn the tables on the favourite.

Bitches returning after being in season are always worth following after getting a few runs under their belt and this theory applies to the formally top class runner LOVELY SWALLOW.

She was contesting in a lot better races than what she finds herself in on Wednesday and should be able to take this race with a bit to spare.

This Friday's contest is not much harder and another paying awaits.

Another to impress last week was the newcomer NO SURRENDER. This was only his third race but he managed to beat an experienced field in a very fast time. He makes his next appearance on Friday night and with plenty of improvement should win this race before taking on the big guns.

Saturday's ultra competitive card kicks off with a puppy race at 7.30pm. There are a few potentially decent dogs in the line up and they should eventually win plenty of races between them.

BIARITZ FLYER has had the benefit of a few races already and can make his experience count. HAZY GUEST has a bright future in front of him and looks the best of the remainder.

We finish of the week with possibly the best bet of the week. Hard Boiled really caught the eye on his last start finishing second on his first run over six bends. With that run out of the way he will certainly improve and is worth maximum stakes in his quest to go one better.AFTER watching last weeks Monkey heats there appeared to be only one dog worth backing in this Wednesday's final.

MILLMOUNT MARTHA was back to her brilliant best last week and is not one to oppose when in this sort of form.

She was taking on five good class stayers on her latest start but that didn't stop her running away with it and eventually won by six lengths. This Friday's contest is not much harder and another paying awaits.
