BRADING Town came from a goal behind today (Monday) to defeat Blackfield and Langley in the Premier Division of the Sydenhams Wessex League.
At a sunny Peter Henry Ground, the side went into the second half 1-0 down but an early strike from Scott Jones, a stunner from GC Giancovich and a close-range effort from Kyle Levrier put the Romans 3-1 up. Blackfield and Langley scored a consolation late on but by then, the result was not in doubt.
They are now the only unbeaten side in the Premier Division, after Fareham Town, the only other side who had not lost, were defeated 1-0 by Newport.
In a dominant performance, the Islanders won through a goal from Sam Hart.
In Division 1, East Cowes Vics drew 1-1 at home to Hythe and Dibden, Brian Attrill scoring their goal. Cowes Sports lost 2-1 to Whitchurch Utd.
