TALENTED youngsters showed off their visual and performance art skills to launch a new partnership.

Over 50 pupils from the seven local secondary schools took part in the showcase at Harlow College on Saturday evening, displaying photography, TV and video work and performing jazz, classical music and rock.

Brays Grove, Burnt Mill, Commonside, Mark Hall, Passmores, Stewards and St Marks are all members of the new Harlow Youth Arts Partnership which was established in September with Harlow College, Harlow Youth Service, Harlow Council and Essex County Council.

Aiming to provide activities for all youngsters, the partnership has already organised two dance events, and a composition course with Harlow Youth Orchestra. It is planning to introduce photography and video courses.
