RARE ballet books dating back to the 1950s have been donated to a Swanley school.
The dance department at Hextable School, in Egerton Avenue, was given 60 books which belonged to Margorie Stacey, 90, of Hazlewood Nursing Home, Longfield, who died in February.
Her son, Brian Stacey, who works at Swanley Chamber of Commerce, said: “My mother had expressed the hope her books, which she had collected since 1950 could go to someone who would appreciate them.
“I believe the pupils will gain joy and knowledge of ballet from these books.”
Heather Hayward of the dance department said the school was extremely grateful.
