THE Island's football programme has been decimated once again by the weather.
The County Press understands all but two matches were called off today due to rain, with AFC Bournemouth beating Shanklin A 3-1 in Division 3 of the Harwoods Vauxhall IW Saturday League, and W and B beating Kyngs Towne 5-0 in Combination 2.
Other than that, all Sydenhams Wessex League, Wyvern Combination League and cup games were off.
And games in the IW Sunday League tomorrow (Sunday) have also been cancelled in advance due to waterlogged pitches.
In addition, Shanklin Ladies' Southern Region Cup quarter-final at home to Basingstoke has also been postponed.
