NEWPORT maintained their unbeaten away form, Cowes Sports are still top of Division 1 and East Cowes Vics slammed seven past Laverstock and Ford, in a great day for the Island's senior sides.

In the Premier Division, Newport travelled to Alton Town and won 3-1, an early goal from Joe Rayner followed up by a double from Aleks Przespolewski.

Meanwhile, Division 1 leaders travelled to Petersfield Town, winning 2-1 thanks to a brace from Gareth Bricknell.
But Vics had the biggest result, beating Laverstock 7-2 at Beatrice Avenue.

A hat-trick from Matt Evans, and goals from Josh Appell (penalty), Freddie Knowles, Chris Elliott and Adam Shepherd capped a fine day all round.
