A church in Aldenham will host a special concert of classical music from the 18th Century next month to raise much-needed funds.
The Church of St John the Baptist will hold Springtime Serenade, featuring the Red Baroque ensemble, on Saturday, April 6, at 7.30pm. A trio will play popular pieces of music written by composers including Handel and Vivaldi at the church, and there will be a buffet and wine.
Admission will be by programme on sale on the door or in advance, by calling 01923 671031.
* The Church of St John the Baptist will also host Music for Easter, a performance of Gabriel Faure's Requiem by three choirs, on Friday, March 29, at 8pm. Admission will be free.
