NEWPORT'S unbeaten run in the Sydenhams Wessex League came to an end tonight (Wednesday) with defeat to Christchurch at St George's Park.
The side were 2-0 up at half time, thanks to goals from Iain Seabrook in the third minute, and John McKie in the 34th.
But in a disastrous final 15 minutes, second-placed Christchurch scored three times to take the points.
They will look to recover their winning ways on Saturday at home to Fareham Town.
