One in, one out for Brading Reserves

By - Friday, May 22, 2009
FOOTBALLBRADING Town have moved quickly to replace reserve team boss, Richie Mumford, who has left to join East Cowes Vics.
The club’s A team manager, Chris Hitchcox, moves up to look after the reserve squad — which will be playing in the IW Saturday League next season — and his assistant will be Damien Rudd.
Tim Lewis, who has made a successful job of running the under-16s side, will take over as A team boss, assisted by Andy Brown.
Brading director of football, Phil Moore, said: “This continues the club’s policy of promoting from within, which helps the progress of our younger players.
“Some of them have been playing together since they were nine years old and will now be entering senior football for the first time. It helps to have experienced and familiar faces around.
“We wish Richie all the best at Vics and thank him for the work he has done.
“But we enter next season full of confidence as a club.”
