FOOTBALLHUSBAND and wife, Alex and Michelle Egleton, were among those honoured when more than 100 players and supporters gathered at The Peter Henry Ground on Saturday for Brading Town’s annual presentation evening.
Awards were presented by first team manager, Steve Brougham, reserve manager, Richie Mumford, A team boss, Chris Hitchcox, and chairman, Keith Newbery.
Club person of the year was Michelle Egleton, with husband, Alex, receiving with the John Gilbert Shield. The Lorraine Cake Memorial Award went to Adam Sunsburg with supporters’ player of the year going to Will Quigley. Young player of the year was Jake Younie.
First team awards went to Ollie Fleming for players, player of the year, Justin Henderston for manager’s players of the year and Darren Williams the most improved player. Top goalscorer was Dave Greening.
Reserves’ players’ player of the year and top goalscorer was Dan Vale and Damian Rudd was the manager’s player of the year. The most improved player was Jason Ince.
The A team players’ player of the year was Luke Hitchcox and Josh Woodnutt was the manager’s player of the year. Most improved was Charlie Urry and top goalscorer was Attila Szegeti.
