Romans have eye on place in final

BRADING Town have a chance of an early cup success after winning their latest tie in the Jubilee Cup.

The Romans defeated Cowes Sports Reserves 2-0, and will take on Ryde Saints — who had earlier beaten Oakfield 3-1 — in the first semi-final tomorrow (Saturday).

The other semi-final will be between Niton, who beat Ventnor 5-0, and Northwood, who defeated Pan 3-2 after extra time.

Both ties will kick off at 2.30pm.

The final of the competition takes place at St George’s Park, Newport, on September 19, at 7.30pm.
